Midhurst Sports Association

In April 1984 the Midhurst Sports Association (MSA) set about raising funds to refurbish the uins Sports Pavilion. The pavilion was a beautiful structure but apart from a cold water tap had very little else.

The MSA formed by members of Midhurst Cricket, Rugby and Stoolball Clubs raised funds and obtained grants to transform the Pavilion into the Club House all three clubs share today.

The MSA committee has a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and two representative members from each of the three clubs.

The committee is primarily responsible for the running of the pavilion, bar and the driveway. We look after the maintenance, expenditure, licensing and decisions on what the pavilion needs and how to provide those needs for the clubs.

The bar had been the only form of income for the upkeep of the pavilion, but recently we have had to ask for a small annual levy from each of the three clubs.

The MSA welcomes your views on how to make our pavilion the best (and how to make the money to maintain it!) Please help us by looking after the pavilion so that it lasts longer for all of us to share and enjoy.

Any comments or queries relating to the MSA can be directed to Midhurst Stoolball Club.
