The National Stoolball Association held an Extraordinary General Meeting on Sunday 28 September 2008. The Constitution was updated with changes required by Sport England for recognition as the governing body of stoolball. The name of the National Stoolball Association was changed to Stoolball England.

The meeting to discuss the triennial review of the Rules of stoolball will be held on Sunday 19 October 2008 at Cowfold Pavilion, commencing at 10.30am.
In accordance with the process agreed at the 2005 AGM, the official Rules of stoolball are reviewed every 3 years. The first such review is due this year and clubs and associations have been feeding suggestions for possible changes to the 2006 version to the Rules Co-ordinator who has called a meeting of all affiliated organisations to discuss these suggestions and to agree on any changes.
This meeting will take place on Sunday 19 October 2008, at Cowfold Pavilion, commencing at 10.30am. All affiliated leagues, divisions and associations have been invited to send a delegate.
