Stoolball news in March 2007

Officers of the National Stoolball Association (NSA) met with association and league represenatatives at Cowfold Sports Pavilion on Sunday 25 March 2007 at 10.30am. Topics discussed include interest from various parts of the world, club registrations, insurance, coaching DVDs, publicity, accreditation and the website.

We are holding an umpires’ forum as part of our programme to promote, develop and raise the standard of stoolball. The forum is mainly for umpires, but players are very welcome. Its aim is to discuss all aspects of the umpire’s role and responsibilities, to share some points of view and, if needed, to offer help and suggestions to make our job more enjoyable for all.

It’s happening at Wivelsfield Green Village Hall, Eastern Road, Wivelsfield Green (near Haywards Heath) on Sunday 13 May 2007. Arrive at 10am for 10.30am start, and tea or coffee will be provided on arrival.
